A quiet moment of reflection. 

Maya wore a dress to school today. She is starting to look very grown up to me.

Today was the first day of school for Maya and Nicolai. Maya, who will be in second grade this year, chose to ride her bicycle trailer to school with her mother instead of taking the bus.

Kyle’s first game of the fall season resulted in a 0-0 tie. Kyle has been working all summer on some new moves and he put them to good use in the game schooling several of his opponents.

Although Mark looks like he could use a nap, Sophia was so cute that I had to include this photo.

Later in the day we spent some time exploring the town of Bath. Mario insisted on posing for this shot.

The boys enjoyed this hole which involves driving across a road without hitting any cars of which there were more than a few.

Our last day at the resort would not be complete without another round of golf.

Another great sunset to cap off a perfect day.

There were butterflies everywhere. I counted at least 8 different species. This is my first photograph of one in the wild which is far more satisfying than shooting them in a butterfly garden.

All the fresh air and sand made for one tired baby.
