Vineyard Bound

Tomorrow, the family heads off to Martha’s Vineyard for a four day vacation with friends. Once again I will try to post daily if I can gain access to the internet. If not, expect a bunch of photos next Monday.

Perkins Cove

On morning two, I went north up the coast to Perkins Cove. I found a great vantage point on a drawbridge from which I captured the entire fishing fleet.

Big Blue

Spotted this giant Blue Heron hunting for breakfast.

Iconic Scenes

A small fishing boat heading out for the day and a crab shack.

One for Jeanine

Down the coast a bit, I stumbled upon this lighthouse and knew Jeanine would enjoy the photo.

Morning Rocks

As the sun rose, I got this shot of the rock formations for which the resort/spa is known.

The Cliff House

I just returned from a three day executive retreat which was held at the Cliff House in Ogunquit, Maine. We worked almost non stop but I was able to get out each morning at the crack of dawn to take some photos.

Deer in Fog

This morning we were treated to a pair of deer feeding as the fog lifted from the field.

Tiny Door

Today, Maya assisted me as I finished building the front door to her play house. Only the hardware and paint remain. I am happy just to share her company while I am working, but when she anticipates the next tool I will need and has it ready to hand to me, I am overwhelmed with pride and joy.

Exotic Tomatoes

A few of the more exotic tomatoes.

Tomato and Corn Festival

This weekend is the Tomato and Corn Festival down at Verrill’s Farm. Dozens and dozens of varieties to sample. Maya rode a pony, but I missed the shot (and am not too happy about that).

Little John

We will miss Johnny. His dad is picking him up this afternoon and heading off to a car show. We have really enjoyed having him with us.

Helen’s

Nicolai is still in Minnesota, but we have had John Quinn all week to keep the child headcount at three. This morning, the kids and I had breakfast at Helen’s.

Bedtime Ritual

Bedtime story for Maya. I just returned from a three-day trip to Mountain View, CA, and was not able to post any photos.
